This recording was the result of a near win at the “Best Unsigned Blues Band” competition in Memphis, TN in ‘2000. Brian Kelley did an amazing job of getting this group down there and back in one piece and we recorded this shortly thereafter. I had such a great time playing with these guys.

Boston based Haitian singer-songwriter came to Boston via Haiti and New York and has been working on a blend of Brazilian and Haitian Rhythms coupled with Jazz harmonies to construct a very personal sound.

This was a project that Roger Brown put together-before his rise as president of the Berklee Collge of Music. I played on half the cuts and wrote the music on three tracks. We had a great time tracking this out atthe famed Blue Jay Studios in Carlyle, MA.
